I like type, I like the alphabet and I like animals so imagine what I was like when I found Alphabeasties.  Very happy indeed.

It’s a great book for those who have a bit of a crush on type. At the start of the book you get a little into to the mind of a graphic designer and why they us different fonts for different things. Then you move on to the fun - a playful use of type to illustrate the animals of the alphabet plus a few little extras. 

It’s witty, clever and pleasing to the eye and with lift the flaps and extendable pages you get even more of the book than you thought.
